Creating user focused, end-to-end bandwidth-on-demand services is a new area that requires the cooperation of metropolitan, national, and international networks. The objective is to support applications with stringent demands for such features as bandwidth and latency. The talks will describe the problems being addressed, the technical approaches to resource reservation, current status, and future efforts.
