Trust and security in Pervasive Computing

Internet Society is being formed with pervasive computing and networking with always-on configuration, so that communication is possible from anywhere at any time. In such pervasive communication environment trustable services with adoptable security functions are of high importance both for personal and business communication. This paper describes how the FP6 SEINIT project uses Infospheres and the Virtual-to-Virtual paradigm as a solution to securing these systems, while also increasing ease of use and freedom of movement for the user. By considering ambience, the possibilities of any given situation can be exploited to the maximum, without compromising security.
